The craziest things happen to the most normal of people. But for these two, it may have just been dumb luck. But when these 2 armor users go head to head, it’s positive that one will rise above the other. Will Issei break the balance or will Tatsumi live to see another night, let’s find out in a DEATH BATTLE!

Before We Start…

This blog will cover both the anime and manga to it's full extent so spoilers ahead for anyone who haven't watched these shows, Tatsumi's exclusive form will be included to give him his full arsenal and abilities, with all that said let's get into the blog.

Background

Issei

Before Issei was the pervy and goated character we all come to know, his parents tried to give birth to to other kids before him which sadly ended in miscarriages, so it made sense why he parents were scared of it potentially happening a 3rd time, but luck them they succeed and Issei was born.

Issei wasn’t always the pervy and creepy kind of guy, he was actually a kind kid who got along with friends, went to church and not socially awkward, but one day Issei met an old man who would tell him and other kids stories about breasts and let’s just say other naughty things you don't need to know, this eventually led to Issei fascination with breast and women in general and develop his perverted tendencies, he would later on attend high school and become part of the perverted trio with his buddies Matsuda and Motohama.

Tatsumi

Tatsumi spent his whole life in a small but caring small village where he would grow up with his close friends Leyasu and Sayo. Tatsumi would train under a retired soldier, learning the art of swordsmanship, hand-to-hand combat and blacksmithing. To help make money for the village the 3 friends set off on their journey and surly come back safe, after setting off they would get attacked by a group of bandits which would cause them to get separated.

After reaching the city by himself Tatsumi by a rich girl named Aria to stay at her house, here he learned about the corrupted Prime Minister, and about the deadly assassination organization known as Night Raid, later that night the house would be attacked by Night Raid, with Tatasumi wondering why they would attack the girl.

Tatsumi tries to defend the girl before two members of Night Raid open up her storehouse and show him why their hunting her. Apparently her family loves to take in travelers before putting them inside the storehouse and torturing them to death, with Tatasumi's friends being her new victims, seeing this Tatsumi decides to kill her himself, shortly after this Tatsumi would get an offer to join the team.

Still devastated over the deaths of his friends, Tatasumi would be hesitant to accept to join at first, but after them telling him they would force him to join and hearing their goals, Tatasumi would become the newest Night Raid member.

Experience & Skill

Issei

Starting off as nothing but a horny teen who went through his own fair share of fights Issei has grown to learn to control his boosted gear alongside his horniness, he is a expert hand to hand fighter being highly capable even while unarmed and despite his naivety and literal mindset Iseei is a very insightful and crafty fighter realizing mistakes in his tactics and adapting to his enemies to perfectly counter them.

Tatsumi

Tatsumi has been training every since he was young, due to his honed battle skills it was pretty easy for him to learn how to fight, being taught swordsmanship and hand to hand combat by an ex military official, Tatsumi's skill with the sword is so great that he is able to defeat opponents as dangerous Captain Ogre while also being able to hold his own against Teigu users like Zanku and Nyau for a good amount of time without having a Teigu of his own, Tatsumi has since improved, being able to take much large and experienced opponents down with ease.

Equipment

Issei

Boosted Gear Base form: Twice Critical (Anime only)

The initial form of the Boosted Gear in the anime. It takes a form of a red, armored bracer with yellow accents and a green jewel on top of the palm area. The fingers aren't covered. It was initially mistaken as a Twice Critical.

Initial Form: Boosted Gear

Issei's Sacred Gear and main weapon, among all the original 13 Longinus, which holds the Welsh Dragon, Ddraig's soul, making it a Mid-Tier Longinus. A left-handed red gauntlet that doubles his powers every 10 seconds until he reach his limit, letting him rival High-Class Devils, holding the potential to kill god if mastered. He later gained the ability to Transfer the multiplied power into a person or item, even parts like his eyes for enhanced vision. Issei later awakened Penetrate, letting him bypass all defenses like Rizevim's Sacred Gear Canceler, letting his attacks make contact; transferred into his eyes lets him see through anything, even woman's clothing.

Upgraded Form: Boosted Gear Gift

is Boosted Gear's third and final form in the shape of a gauntlet. It has the same appearance as the original Boosted Gear, except with a second jewel that grants the user the Transfer ability and that it covers more of the user's arm. It debuted during Rias' Rating Game against Riser Phenex.

Ascalon

Issei's second weapon, received from Michael, having been through a ritual by the Three Factions' leaders so he could wield it despite not having the light attribute, and being a dragon host. It was stored in Boosted Gear, letting him extent Ascalon from the gauntlet, and being imbued with Ddraig's power, resulting in an enormous boost in power. Not being a swordsman himself, Issei often channels its dragon slaying powers into his punches, making it easier to harm dragons, and could infuse it into his Crimson Blaster. He could endow Ascalon with Boost and Penetrate, the effects lasting even after launching it as a projectile at Vidar.

Tatsumi

Teigu

 Teigu are mysterious and extremely powerful relics that exist in the world of Akame Ga Kill! They are rare and only the strongest of warriors are able to wield them. Some have the appearance of equipment or weapons, while others appear to be living creatures. It is implied that a form of magic was used to create them

Incursio

Incursio was an Armor-type Teigu created from the flesh of Tyrant, a Super Class Danger Beast. It was a prototype for what would later become Grand Chariot. The Danger Beast's power was so great that its flesh is still alive within, giving the Teigu the title of "Demon Dragon Armor". In the past, Incursio once belonged to a high-ranking Imperial Army officer and martial arts expert Gensei, who was also Bulat's master, and later came into Bulat's possession and was used during his time under General Liver up until his mission against the Three Beasts with Tatsumi, when he passed it on to him upon his inevitable death. Both Bulat and Incursio were so well-known that Wave, upon seeing the Incursio-clad Tatsumi, mistook him for the late 100-Man Slayer in spite of the recent change in form.

Incursio Armor

The full form of Incuriso, Armor-type Teigu that once released the user is enveloped in full-body armor. Due to being body armor, Incursio had a near-indestructible defense with the only thing able to pierce it being other Teigu. The users of Incursio are also able to wield a long spear or halberd-like weapon called "Neuntote", which is capable of cutting through Danger Beasts with ease.

Boosted Gear: Scale Mail

a red dragon armor, which became his main combat form, he achieved a perfected one from Tannin's training, but reached it from poking Rias' breasts to trigger it. It drastically increases the user's power, abilities, speed, and defense. It also temporarily allows the user to use the power of the Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing without the 10-second interval. The armor is also capable of repairing itself from almost any damage it takes.

Juggernaut Drive

A form unique to Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing, which releases the seals placed on the Heavenly Dragons temporarily granting the user immense power rivaling God, however, at the cost of his sanity and lifespan. The immense power is so great that, upon activation, its aura would have destroyed the urban areas of the human world.

Welsh Sonic Boost Knight

In this form, Issei possesses enormous speed (Godspeed as he called it), but to make full use of it, Issei must shed his excess armor, causing it to become thin to the point where it has low defense, making him vulnerable to powerful attacks.

Welsh Dragonic Rock

In this form, Issei possesses massive power and defense but has a low body maneuvering speed because of the massive, thickened armor.

Welsh Blaster Bishop

In this form, Issei possesses an enormous amount of demonic power, which he applies to the two cannons at the back of his armor.

Cardinal Crimson Promotion

This form changes the color of Issei's Scale Mail armor from red to crimson. Cardinal Crimson Promotion incorporates all three Evil Pieces traits, making it the most balanced and most powerful form of Issei's Scale Mail. In this form, Issei is capable of using enhanced versions of the Illegal Move Triaina's abilities. This form, however, is still unstable and requires mastering the three forms of Illegal Move Triaina to stabilize its powers. Issei can now enter True Queen without having to chant, and due to Diabolos Dragon God, its power has been increased.

Diabolos Dragon

An upgraded form, caused from releasing Ophis' power, possible because his new body was created through Great Red's flesh. This changing his Scale Mail into crimson and black, with two pairs of dragon wings, It changes Boost to D∞D, overpowering Rizevim, allowing Issei to overpower his Sacred Gear Canceller by using the power of infinite. However, Issei can sustain it for a short period, causing both severe pain and complications making death pale in comparison

Apocalypse AnswerArms

 Issei's AxA form. This form is the result of Issei combining with his familiar Ryuuteimaru, who manifests Great Red's power due to him being Issei's familiar thus allowing him to make use of Great Red's aura in Issei's body. The power of this form is so great that it overwhelms Tartarus, a Primordial God in Greek mythology. It has the power to destroy the entire world with its destructive power. Because of the weapons that were installed in Ryuuteimaru, Issei has gained new abilities in this form. The drawback of this form is that it has an extremely high consumption rate which gives it a short time limit. Furthermore, Ryuuteimaru is unable to move for a few days and Issei himself suffers fatigue for a few days.

Tatsumi

Evolved Incursio

In this state Tatsumi's speed and strength are much higher and has adapted enough to allow him to resists Esdeath time stop ability. However, this also caused Incursio to begin fusing with Tatsumi, turning his right eye into Tyrant's.

Evolved Incursio 2

After sustaining critical damage from the Shikoutazer, Incursio evolved again, gaining enhanced strength and speed, regerative capabilities, and wings that Tatsumi could use to fly. However, this evolution caused half of Tatsumi's face to become reptilian, with scales, fangs, and a massive horn, with his hand becoming scaly and clawed.

Evolved Incursio 3

Tatsumi evolved Incursio again, making it bulkier and giving it enough power to damage the Ultimate Teigu. Tatsumi fused even Tyrant even more in this state, with horns growing from both sides of his head and his hands becoming more reptilian.

Evolved Incursio 4

Incursio's final evolution, which Tatsumi used to destroy the Shikoutazer once and for all. However, he also lost control of himself multiple times while using it, and his body has fused with Tyrant so much at his point that he's not even considered human anymore. At this point, Tatsumi has lost all humanoid traits, with his body getting covered with scales, his mouth forming into a dragon's, and his teeth turning jagged and sharp. By remembering Bulat and his friends, Tatsumi managed to gain control of the evolution, giving him enough power to destroy the Ultimate Teigu with two hits. In this state, Tatsumi's strength even rivals Esdeath's.

Tyrant

After forcing Incursio to evolve so much to defeat the Ultimate Teigu, Tatsumi was completely consumed by Incursio, transforming him into Tyrant reborn. As the strongest class of Danger Beast, Super Class, Tyrant is an incredibly powerful monster. This new Tyrant resembles an armored dragon, resembling Incursio's second evolved form with added wings and tail, and is as large as a building. However, Akame was able to kill Tyrant's mind by cutting it with her sword, causing Tatsumi to regain control of himself.

An anime only form where instead of becoming more of a dragon the armor gains wings, claws and becomes golden along with a massive boost in power (this goes so hard)

Abilities

Issei

Demonic power

Issei has all the powers common to Devils, but his was even lower than Devil children, leaving him unable to travel using magic circles. It can be enhanced through promotion to Bishop or Queen. However, his training with Tannin afforded him sufficient Demonic Power that he can casually release Dragon shots powerful enough to "erase" a mountain. Due to continously training his Demonic Power and his accumulated experience in intensively using it in combat, Issei's overall base Demonic Power has increased to the point being at a level of a High-Class Devil. In his Crimson Armor his Demonic Power is Satan-Class, and in his Diabolos Dragon God form, it was stated to be Transcendental-Class

Dragon Shot

One of Issei's signature moves, where he releases a beam of concentrated Demonic Power. It is often used in tandem with Boosted Gear to increase its destructive potential, once destroying a mountain. He developed a small scale version meant to knock out humans and lessen the damage done.

Dress break

Issei's second signature move, which he mainly uses against women. As its name suggests, this move allows him to "strip" woman by first coming into contact with them.

Pailingual

Issei's third signature move, which allows him to "talk" to women's breasts after creating a "space". As such, it is a useful move as it allows him to learn his opponents' plans by asking their breasts, however, complaints from females from other peerages caused Rias to ban it in Rating Games. A drawback is that if a woman strips in front of him and informs him about her plans hinders Pailingual. In his D×D Form, it is powerful enough to cover an entire island and combined with Penetrate, it can talk to a powerful being's breasts.

Promotion

Being a Pawn, Issei can use the promotion to temporarily gain the traits of a Queen, Rook, Knight or Bishop, after Ajuka Beelzebub rewrote Issei's Evil Pieces, Issei can now use Promotion anytime and anywhere without the King's permission.

- Castling: Upon becoming King of his own peerage, Issei gained the ability to use this move, which allows him to swap locations with one of his Rooks. He first used it in his match with Baraqiel to escape a sealing barrier by switching with Rossweisse.

Flame Blaze

Issei learned to breath flames using Boosted Gear. First, he inhales, filling his lungs with air and produce a small flame in his stomach, then uses Boost and Transfer to enhance it, then breathes massive flames from his mouth. He can widen his dragon flame to the point that it can engulf the whole sky.

Nyuutron Beam Cannon

Issei's fourth signature move, which is the end result of assistance from his grandfather and Guanyin, letting him attach his Scale Mail's tail onto a woman's breast to convert their "Breast Power" into demonic power with their bust size displayed on his gauntlet's jewel and determines how powerful the blast will be.

Summoning

Issei can summon his familiar, Ryuuteimaru.

Dragon Aura

Due to possessing Boosted Gear, then having his left arm turned into a dragon, Issei has a small amount of dragon aura. Training with Tannin increased it, to the point of dealing minimal damage while using Boosted Gear. After gaining a new body, made from a combination of Great Red's flesh and Ophis' power, it became more natural, described as being dominant.

Longinus Smasher 

Juggernaut drive finishing move and one of his most powerful attacks, which opens a hidden launcher on his chest before releasing an enormous amount of aura of immense destructive power. Ddraig described it as a forbidden power he shouldn't have, which can change the environment, if shot on land, then the entire area would vanish, and if shot in the air, the aura will dye the sky red.

Dragon Blaster

Welsh Blaster Bishop fishing move which is a severely boosted equivalent of his Dragon Shot capable of leveling battlefields and briefly warp space-time. The drawbacks to that the amount of time it takes to charge the cannons and stamina lost with each shot.

Solid Impact

Welsh Dragonic Rock respected finishing move that delivers a punch that has its power and speed increased by nailing the percussion hammer located at his elbow shot

Cardinal Crimson Promotion attacks

- Solid Impact Booster: By morphing one of the armor's gauntlets into Welsh Dragonic Rook's, it allows it for an enhanced version of Solid Impact. It can also be used in tandem with Ascalon to deal further damage to Dragons.

- Crimson Blaster: An enhanced version of Welsh Blaster Bishop's "Dragon Blaster" that shoots a powerful beam from the wings of the armor.

- Dividing Wyvern Fairy: The newest and improved form of Dividing Gear, caused from reconciliation between the Heavenly Dragons. Instead of a white gauntlet, Issei instead creates small White Wyverns that can use Divide and even Reflect incoming attacks. Unlike the Dividing Gear, it reduces Issei's stamina, instead of lifespan. Issei managed to change the White Wyverns to Red Wyverns at will, granting them access to Boost, Transfer, and Penetrate instead.

- Crimson Extinct Dragonar: After training with Rias, Issei manages to make use of the red Wyverns to attach themselves on Rias to create her own variation of the Boosted Gear Scale Mail.

- Longinus Smasher: Issei gains access to this ability when the Red Wyverns used Boost on him while in this form. An ability initially available to Juggernaut Drive that from the chest appears a launcher that fires a powerfully destructive beam. This, however, leaves strong fatigue on Issei as it drains a lot of his stamina and depending on how one uses it, it can change the environment. Due to its immense power, this ability has a very long recharge period, lasting at least a month.

- Tail Blade: Using the Ascalon II Prototype, Issei with his tail of his armor can attack with its blade and lengthened the tail towards his enemies at high speed.

Diabolos Dragon attacks

- Infinity Blaster: A further enhanced version of Crimson Blaster, the wings contain cannons that shoot out a powerful blast of red and black aura that leaves even Rizevim injured to an extent that his body is almost fatally damaged. By using it, DxD G's time limit of three minutes is cut down to ten seconds. After drinking miracle drug Amrita, Issei has overcome this weakness and can maintain his armor after shooting Infinity Blaster.

- Longinus Smasher: The form is not only capable of this move, but the blast it shoots out has been enhanced with the power of infinity, delivering further damage. It can also be used in tandem with the Infinity Blaster, fusing the two blasts into an even more powerful attack.

- Blazing Inferno of Scorching Flames: An ability that was sealed by the God of the Bible, which Issei managed to unlock upon using his DxD form for the second time. Issei releases a powerful breath of fire that can incinerate anything, flames that never go out once ignited as they continue to burn even after being reduced to ashes and can probably burn the soul until nothing remains. The only existences known to be immune to these flames are Albion, Ophis, and Great Red. Its area of effect can cover an entire island. 

-  Partial Pseudo-Dragon Deification: Issei can perform a partial Pseudo-Dragon Deification on his armor, letting him channel his dragon god aura to some extent, but still lessens the stamina consumption. He could channel it into his left arm, letting him strengthen his various techniques such as Dress Break, Solid Impact Booster, and Dragon Shot; through transforming his wings using this allows him to move at greater speed.

- Dress Break DxD: By using his Dragon God aura, Issei can increase his range that halts a female target’s movement, and by strengthening his left hand he can destroy their clothes without even touching them.

- Red Dragon Emperor Ddraig Manifestation: Due to drinking the miracle drug Amrita, Issei gained the ability to summon Ddraig into battle after the countdown on the right gauntlet reaches zero.

Apocalypse AnswerArms attacks

- Revelation Barrier: Creates a stronger barrier around the body and is powerful enough to withstand attacks from gods such as Tartarus.

- Revelation Blade: With four arms of his Apocalypse AnswerArms form, each of the arms carries a aura blade known as Apocalypse Ascalon, which can easily cut through anything like Tartarus’ tentacles.

- Revelation All-Range Blaster: Similar to Cardinal Crimson Promotion and Diabolos Dragon God, Apocalypse AnswerArms has many cannons to fire powerful blast of auras that can destroy Tartarus’ magic barriers like paper and destroys almost half of his body, even as Issei held back his power. The blast of destructive energy is so powerful it can alter the environment and is strong enough to destroy the artificial space created Dimension Lost. Issei states that the blast is comparable to several Infinity Blaster's blast attacks combined.

- Pawn Piece: Due being the possessor of Boosted Gear, Issei needed to be reincarnated using eight Pawn Pieces, granting him more power than a normal pawn. As a Pawn, he can promote to either a Queen, Rook, Bishop, or Knight. Since his Pawn started adjusting to Ddraig's power, four of his Pawn Pieces turned into Mutation Pieces with different values due to Illegal Move Triaina and Cardinal Crimson Promotion, then the rest turned into Mutation Pieces due to Diabolos Dragon, a phenomena that even their creator couldn't believe.

Tatsumi

Increased Attributes

The Incuriso armor greatly increases the user's physical abilities such as speed, strength, and agility.

Trump Card

The armor's trump card was the ability to turn the user invisible for a certain amount of time, depending on the skill of the user. As noted, a weakness of the invisibility was that while it masked the user visually from the naked eye, it did not hide their "presence," allowing skilled opponents to sense the user despite them being invisible.

Adaptaion and Evolution

Due to its origins as the Danger Beast Tyrant, Incursio possessed an aptitude for adaptation and evolution. Aside from its standard capabilities, it continued to evolve as the result of battles against several opponents, gaining new forms and abilities as time goes on. 

Posion and Cold resistance

Incursio has developed a resistance to the effects of poison and extreme cold.

Time stop resistance

 Incursio develops resistance to Esdeath's Time Stop, Makahadoma, in its second evolution and then demonstrates full immunity as Tyrant.

Can only maintain invisibility for a few seconds before tiring out, using Incursio takes a lot out of him | Invisibility has a limited duration, forcing the armor to evolve and using it extensively afterward will lead eventually cause Incursio to consume him.

Tatsumi scaling to Esdeath??

Now you might be thinking, Bizarre how can Tatsumi who got one tapped by Esdeath when he went into his tyrant mode even scales to her?? Glad you asked. Tatsumi was able to break great chunks of Esdeath's ice and even took her by surprise when he first attacked her, he destoryed her Ice Tree and stopped her Ice Blender and even briefly held his own against a full power Esdeath, may be a bit of a stretch but he could possibly scale to her

Talking their direct feats first, Issei was able to blow up more than half of a Rating game field, with the claclulation coming out to be worth 3 Teratons of TNT, Tatsumi's best attack feat comes out to 4.98 Tons of TNT giving Issei a massive edge in both durability and strength, but that's only with their feats alone how would Tatsumi be do with scaling him to others?? Tatsumi is way above Mine who can output an energy worth to 18.75 Kilotons of TNT impressive for sure but nothing close to what else he can be compared to, scaling Tatsumi to the likes of Shikoutazer dark bomb which is worth 22.58 Teratons of TNT, and with Esdeath scaling you can get Tatsumi around the 100 Teratons to 0.10 Petatons of TNT, a massive upgrade in power, but even considering this Issei would still take stats, you say Issei strongest attack which is a big fuck off blast is said to have enough power to destroy a Planet with this into thought Issei is millions even billions of times stronger and more durable than Tatsumi would ever be, whats worst is that he can potentially destory the planet with a single hit at full power, enough to give him the advantage over Tatsumi. Speed, this one isn't as close, yes while both have been shown to dodge lighting, Issei has been said to be faster than light and keep up with Vali who has been stated to be faster than light mutiple times, Issei can also keep up with Crocell who reacted to light.

overall, Tatsumi is definitely a strong and agile fighter, but Issei has a massive edge in speed with, and is far stronger than anything Issei has faced

Arsenal & Abilities

Tatsumi maybe have his own fair share of abilities and can turn invisible thanks to his trump card, but any of this falls short in comparison to Issei's stupid number of spells and transformations, Issei also has more than one way to end the fight rather quickly, his divide ability would allow him to whittle away Tatsumi's power by the seconds, straight up bypass Incursio's defense with penetrate, now you may wanna ask wouldn't Incursio allow Tatsumi to evolve to match the scale mail's power? yes and no, you see while the armor allows Tatsumi to evolve in the blink of an eye incursio's evolve power isn't constant and can only be used in response to any physical trauma, but the most improtant thing is that Tatsumi has to be alive for the evolution to work, while issei can just evolve on command when ever he want's and change his fighting style with juggernut drive, get an even higher speed boost with sonic boost knight, become a defenseive monster with Welsh Dragonic Rock, or become Issei worst nightmare and spam long range blast's with Welsh Blaster Bishop, meaning that Tatsumi would always be playing catch up to Issei, not a good spot to be when both of you are trying to kill eachother.

Tertiary Factors

While Tatsumi has more experience and better training under his belt than Issei does, that inself doesn't mattar when the person your fighting has everything needed to win the fight single handedly.

Overall, Issei fought far more stronger and faster foes, went through tougher fights, and has far more useful abilities in his hands, direct feats and statements make him leagues stronger than Tatsumi and scaling doesn't leave him far behind when it comes to power while he always has a massive edge in speed regardless of scaling or not

When it comes to abilities and arsenal, Tatsumi's stuff maybe useful, but everything Issei has is just on a whole other level, and pretty much everything that Issei can do Tatsumi just has a counter to it, you can't say the thing about Tatsumi as he never faced anyone with the likes of Issei's power or Issei's insta win button

And for the final straw Issei's transformations make him a whole new foe that Tatsumi is fighting, he pretty much a guy going up against an entire army, speed form, blast form, juggernut form, defense form and Issei's 2 Kaiju forms, its just too much for Issei to handle, Issei sure raided his foe tonight
